If you’re a Veteran in crisis or a Service member in crisis — or you're concerned about one — there are caring, qualified VA responders standing by to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION HOTLINE

Lifeline Chat is a service of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, connecting individuals with counselors for emotional support and other services via web chat. All chat centers in the Lifeline network are accredited by CONTACT USA. Lifeline Chat is available 24/7 across the U.S.

MILITARY ONESOURCE HOTLINE

Technology is on your side when it comes to getting the information you need. Instead of spending hours online researching articles, check out the live chat feature on the Military OneSource website. You type in your question and receive a quick response with the information you need. Live chat makes the existing Military OneSource services even easier to access.

WOMAN VETERAN'S HOTLINE

The hotline is staffed by knowledgeable women VA employees who can provide information about benefits and health care services for women. Callers can be linked to information on claims, education or health care appointments, as well as information about VA cemeteries and memorial benefits.

WHITEHOUSE VETERAN'S HOTLINE

Calls are answered by a live agent 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  The hotline is staffed by more than 60 agents who have had extensive training on VA programs and services.  Most of these agents are a Veteran, military family member, caregiver or a survivor.

GI BILL HOTLINE

VA education benefits help Veterans, service members, and their qualified family members with needs like paying college tuition, finding the right school or training program, and getting career counseling. Learn how to apply for and manage the education and training benefits you've earned.
