We believe in taking action with urgency to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today's veterans. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in our American heroes' lives.

United Veterean Services Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans with all aspects of civilian life. Helping them go from military to civilian life, we work with the veteran to create a plan to execute for a solid, stable, and meaningful life while supplying reinforcement when needed.

Veteran Memorial Service

Most military families are familiar with the five Ps':  Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
While serving in the military, you live by the five Ps'. Many people do everyday tasks ad hoc, and at times, this is perfectly fine. Minor tasks do not require a whole lot of thought. But on the battlefield, it is different, and it's obvious that planning is essential. Chaos on the battlefield is always inevitable. It is known as the FOG of war. What you previously planned can go haywire, and you need to prepare for anything. In the civilian world, we call this identifying Risks and Issues. Like chaos on a battlefield when entering civilian life, there is always a fear of unexpected hardships. One of the essential tools that will help conquer those hardships is the five Ps'. Creating this plan and executing it is the key to a successful civilian life.

United Veteran Services Inc. doesn't dwell on how or why a veteran becomes unexpected hardship. Our mission is to provide short-term assistance with a long-term success plan to those who wish to change their lives for the better. It's never easy to ask for direction and support, especially when one isn't even sure where to ask. United Veteran Services Inc. is here for those veterans willing and committed to helping us help them.

The men and women who serve in the military have a long tradition of defending our country without considering the cost to themselves. Yet far too often, when our servicemen and servicewomen return home, they require but rarely receive support and mentoring to transition from military to productive civilian home life and gainful career path. Sadly, we have veterans who have lost everything upon returning from active duty or war simply because they were not mentored or counseled on being a civilian again.

United Veteran Services Inc. understands that most veterans desire to have a normal peaceful life. The unfortunate reality without a proper plan in place, 1 in 5 veterans, become homeless, and tragically 22 veterans take their own life every single day because they lost hope and feel broken inside. Not having proper support and guidance, veterans struggle with the civilian transition. Many veterans have never had a job outside of their military career and don't know properly prepare for a civilian interview.

Our program provides veterans with a roadmap with opportunities to acclimate to civilian living and EMPOWER them with tools for success. Financial management and budgeting, resume building and job interview classes, assistance with procuring jobs, job skills training, and obtaining affordable housing within a budget developed with a financial advisor are just some of the ways that United Veteran Services Inc. assists veterans.

Of course, we cannot do any of this without the support from you and our communities. We invite you and welcome you to take this journey with us. And if the path for success demands you to walk through hell. Then let's walk through the place together as if we own the place.
